As a games ethusiast for over 8 years, reading/playing/undertanding games, this is a very good summary from the other side.

Esp. Point 3 - Current state of mainstream writing can't grasp the weird state Interactive Entertainment falls into. But I can't blame them, since general consumers themselves only interacts with some portions of it.
